Do you want your child to learn how to swim this summer? Well sign them up for the "Power Lessons" swim program at Manor Beach. An American Red Cross Learn to Swim program.
Book a Lesson
As one might know the best way for a child to learn a skill is by practice and repetition. With this being understood we have developed a "total immersion" program in the open water that gets kids swimming quickly. Instead of the traditional swim program that meets once a week for a half hour over a period of many months, our program is condensed into four - 45 minute sessions meeting Monday through Thursday and Friday serving as a built in rain date.
As a result, being condensed into one week sessions, you as a parent can sign up for as few or as many sessions as you choose and conveniently schedule them around your family's other summer activities. Our recommended amount when signing up, is for at least two sessions (8 classes) but that is totally up to you. If your child is already enrolled in a swim class, either at camp or somewhere else, these sessions can also be used as a supplement.
They are also a good way to get a student ready for that vacation that will be involving swimming at the beach and pool. Remember, these classes also provide that "open water" atmosphere that will not be developed as quickly in a pool setting. So sign up soon since class sizes are limited.
We look forward to seeing at the beach! (Remember, you must have a beach membership in order to sign up for these classes)
